My most recent series, "But I Don't Want to Die Alone," pulls from religious and mythical ideas that expand beyond my own consciousness. The transparency and shadows of the Moon Women function as the ephemeral conception of women, their elements harmonized and liberated so that individuality is no longer a burden as they're unified in sharing the same untainted energy. My apocalyptic and utopian works unite a troubled population with a shared soul, leaving my beloved cows, sharing this same spirit, to stoically represent helplessness, oppression and death. In my work I am the protector of all the innocence destroyed. I am the restorer of hope. And I am a lie that something better exists.
