Odin is inspired by the Norse mythology. He was known as the god of battle, but also of wisdom, magic, and poetry. He is a God for the times. We need shields to protect us from greed and envy. Yet we must rely on our creativity if we are to navigate uncertain waters. Odin is symbolic of the mighty sea warriors who braved the elements, but maintained values of loyalty and compassion.

Dark Knight
Bone
12 x 20 x 6 in
$12000.00

Carved horse sacrum on fieldstone rock. Dark Knight When carving into this piece I saw a mouth dropped open in horror and then many faces spiraling upward and outward in an apocalypse. This sculpture is about the evil of oppression and the dignified spirit of those trying to fight it off. The presence seems noble, yet haunting, so I named it "Dark Knight" to emphasize both its dark being and the experience of a dark passage.
