Artist Statement

My work explores the imagination and studies everyday people and objects that exist around us. I then strive to re-present those aspects within their own unusual and/or humorous reality, often combining personal subject matter with unfamiliar, imagined elements. I have little interest in representing ordinary objects through traditional means. I prefer to work in an intuitive manner, allowing my work to easily distinguish itself.
